Defined Designs is a family-owned business with a long history in architectural design. Our story began in August 1967 when my father, Dave Payne, started his own design company after working as a draftsman. Over the years, he built a reputation for quality and attention to detail.

In 2001, I learned to draft by hand under my father’s guidance, starting with a traditional drafting board. By 2002, I transitioned to using design software, combining the craftsmanship I learned with modern tools.

Today, my son and I continue the family legacy with Defined Designs. We’re dedicated to providing updated and innovative design services while staying true to the values of quality and precision that have defined our work for decades.
